November 2008: The Indy Chapter cheerfully accepted a generous invitation from Bloomington Chapter to join them in a ghost hunt at the Indiana Memorial Union at the IU Campus.
An amazing number of new (and new-again) members showed up for both chapters, and we were treated to a tour of the haunted tower of the IMU. It was a long drive for a meeting night, but well worth it to meet so many cool new folks in a beautiful and spooky historic location.

Saturday night, September 27th, was our first downtown tour! We had a good turnout, and everyone seemed enthusiastic and interested. Our hosts at the Slippery Noodle started us off with history and told us firsthand of paranormal experiences in the place after closing time. Even the IGT guides were listening closely… Of course we did, this is why we joined in the first place!
The tour ended just shy of 90 minutes, winding around the downtown area and crossing the Circle. At the end, those on the tour stuck around awhile to ask questions about the group and our own experiences, then headed back to the Noodle for drinks afterwards. It seemed to me that a good time was had by all.
As of this posting, there are still five more opportunities to join us in exploring the haunted locales of our capital city. You can reserve a spot now by clicking the orange text in the upper left corner of the site.
I hope to see you there!

Wow, what a month June was! Patrick Burns of CourtTV’s “Haunting Evidence” drove all the way up from Georgia to give a presentation to IGT Indy Chapter. He talked about all kinds of ghost tech and methods. It was a real eye opener, and he was a fantastic guy to hang out with and to learn from. Coming soon: pictures and video from his visit.
